On July 19, 2023, Ma Hongying, the Director of Songjiang District Environmental Protection Bureau, along with Deputy Director Xu Ping and other leaders, visited the Shanghai Low-Carbon Technology Innovation Functional Platform (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform") for an exchange and study session. Liao Bo, the Deputy General Manager of Platform Operations, and other officials were present to welcome them.

    Director Ma Hongying and her delegation toured various facilities, including the Particulate Verification Platform, Energy Storage and Electrochemistry Platform, Analytical Testing Platform, and various R&D laboratories. They gained an overview of the platform's experimental venues, instrumentation, and research achievements.

    During the round-table discussion, Director Ma Hongying listened to an overview of the Low Carbon Technology Innovation Platform and expressed her approval for its market positioning, industrial benefits, and scientific achievements. She opined that, against the backdrop of China's "Dual Carbon" goals, enterprises should proactively take on the social responsibility for green development. She also stressed the need for deep thought and exploration on how enterprises can better participate in carbon peaking and carbon neutrality initiatives. She offered several guiding opinions for the platform to maintain high-quality development and conveyed her earnest hopes for its future.

    Going forward, the platform will continue to implement new development concepts, promote technological innovation, and empower green development, thereby contributing to China’s "Dual Carbon" objectives.
