On March 28, 2023, a delegation of 10 individuals from a major state-owned enterprise visited the Shanghai Low-Carbon Technology Innovation Platform for discussions on future collaboration. Wang Hui, who is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Platform, Fan Weiyao, the General Manager of Shanghai Lanz Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and Liao Bo, the Deputy General Manager of Platform Operations, were in attendance to receive the delegation.
The delegation from the major state-owned enterprise conducted on-site visits to the High-Throughput Catalyst Evaluation and Particle Verification Platform, the Energy Storage and Electrochemistry Platform, and the Analytical Testing Platform, as well as various R&D laboratories. They focused on understanding the capabilities in energy materials research and development as well as evaluation, and the advancements in low-carbon technology research.
During the symposium, Wang Hui, the platform's executive director, provided an overview of the core competencies of the Low-Carbon Platform, the "One Core, Two Wings" development status of low-carbon technologies, and comprehensive solutions. Both parties engaged in discussions and exchanges on topics such as the platform's operational model, high-end carbon resource utilization technology, and energy storage and hydrogen storage technologies.
Both sides concurred that they would continue to foster higher-quality and more in-depth technological and industrial collaborations. The aim is to actualize the industrial implementation of low-carbon technology achievements, thereby contributing to the national "Dual Carbon" strategic objectives and achieving green, high-quality development.
